Yay, how cool, just when you thought Nolita couldn’t possibly get any hipper, we have just found out that coop & spree founded by CEO Brooke Richman, will be opening in August at 202 Elizabeth Street. The store will be teched out with tablets so that you can design your outfits online. Also inside the store a photobooth will be set-up so customers can snap a selfie or two and instantly share with ones online friends ….. to buy or not to buy is the obvious question? And it’s a sure thing, coop & spree recently raised $1 million dollars, so rest assured they’re here to stay in our hood for a while.
According to the coop & spree website, they are planning on ‘catering to the stylish, young metropolitan consumer who has grown accustomed to shopping online’ and will stock under the radar brands including some Aussie brands haling from my home town of Sydney!!!! the likes of: findersKEEPERS, Bec & Bridge and Wildfox (love these LA cool cats), Phyllis and Rosie and Courtney Lee jewelry and my Nolita fav design team: Cut25 by Yigal Azrouël, yayyyyyy!
Brooke is also looking for someone full-time to assist with virtually every element of the business (from merchandising & buying to operations, social media etc) & for interns (to help specifically with merchandising). email her directly with any inquiries/resumes: firstname.lastname@example.org
