I love this place, located in the heart of Nolita, just around the corner from my HQ. The interior design is oh so boho, comfy, cool and laid back. Check-out the listing details below:
This penthouse 1400 sq-ft full-floor 1.5 bedroom, 2 bath luxury artist’s loft is the home of an interior designer and restaurateur. The location on Bowery off Spring Street is in the middle of prime Nolita boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Weekly or longer rentals include bonuses like fridge stocked with cold-pressed juices from The Butcher’s Daughter, bar cart stocked with wine and champagne, weekend newspaper delivery and weekly cleaning service.
The light-filled space has two walls of windows, lending northern and southern exposure, which floods the space with sunlight all day. Design details include a spacious open floor plan, hardwood white-washed oak floors, exposed brick and industrial wood beams leading up to 15-foot ceilings.
A separate quiet spacious bedroom is located in the back of the loft (away from the street) and comes with it’s own window balcony and a grand antique porcelean bathtub, perfect for romantic bubble baths (champagne bucket with stand included). An antique art-deco vanity and mahogany antique bed complete the picture.
The grand living room/open loft has a 9-foot farmhouse table that seats 12ppl, an antique daybed and two additional couches that can sleep 3 additional people comfortably (one aero bed is also available upon request). Blankets and throws are also provided. Artwork abounds in the loft, with oil paintings and photography from famous artists.
The loft is filled with light all day, but should you want to dim the room, you can close the farmhouse shutters on the exterior wall. The large marble coffee table is filled with Assouline art books and designers including Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen. Fresh flowers and greenery breathe life into the space, including a Mediterranean fig tree.
