Ok, so this is obviously not in the hood, nor in Manhattan but this hotel is so impressive I just have to show you guys how beautiful, simple and stylish it is. Wythe Hotel started with the discovery of a factory on the Williamsburg waterfront. The building was constructed in 1901 and converted into a hotel. Starting at just $300 a night, you can’t go wrong. I’m thinking it could be great to escape for a night from Manhattan and spend a night out there.
An added bonus is that Caron Callahan has a the shop in the lobby that carries a carefully selected collection of apparel, accessories, jewelry, and handmade goods. It specializes in small-run, unique offerings from the community of designers, artists, and friends that Caron has built in her years living in Brooklyn and working in the fashion industry.
