McNally Jackson’s outpost pictureroom store, just around the corner from their indie bookstore a 236 Mulberry Street (cnr of Prince street), feels like your walking into a quaint poster store, but with a touch of modernness and an art gallery vibe all rolled into one. McNally’s hunt out emerging artists, rare prints and posters once lost or buried away in archives, going through private collections from NYC collectors.
The picture room was especially set up to promote emerging artists in an intimate almost living room like environment. Any artists out there interested in participating should email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The cosy Mulberry street store provides shoppers an opportunity to browse vintage posters from $1 to thousands of dollars, perfect for special birthday presents for those fussy people, you know who I mean, mostly your in-laws ;-), books, and home study knick nacks to decorate the fussiest home workers tastes.
Literature buffs will also revel in the framed original book jackets from famous authors such as Tennessee Williams.
