Pop Up Speakeasy: Project 1919
Pop Up Speakeasy: Project 1919

It appears that Nolita is the best neighborhood for Pop-up stores, but Pop-up bar?? Well apparently this is a hot new trend, and let’s face it considering our times of economic uncertainly and bars coming and going so quickly, it really makes solid financial sense. New Yorkers embraced a few Pop Up bars over the holidays too according to Zagat, now we welcome a Pop-up Bar to our hood. Brought to you by The Mulberry Project (these cats definitely know a thing or two about running a bar well) the 1919 pop-up speakeasy embraces drinking barrel aged spirits, focusing on darker spirits to really put some hair on your chest. Apparently famous NYC mixologists Sam Ziar and Jasper Soffer were the ones who created the simple 10 drink menu. 1919 will only be around for 3 months, so make a booking and check it out at 149 Mulberry St.; 646-448-4536
